彩18歳！アルケミスト – 夢を旅した少年

彩が18歳。大人の仲間入り！
記念すべき誕生日のお祝いに、ブラジルの作家パウロ・コエーリョの「アルケミスト」を、Gap Yearでイギリスに行ってる彩にプレゼントした。

羊飼いの少年サンチャゴは、アンダルシアの平原からエジプトのピラミッドに向けて旅に出た。そこに、彼を待つ宝物が隠されているという夢を信じて。「何かを強く望めば宇宙のすべてが協力して実現するように助けてくれる」「前兆に従うこと」少年は、錬金術師の導きと旅のさまざまな出会いと別れのなかで、人生の知恵を学んで行く。世界中でベストセラーとなった夢と勇気の物語。

少年サンチアゴの旅のお話に散りばめられているさまざまなメッセージにインスパイヤーされたようで、じっくり読み、そこから得たことを今の自分に応用しているようだった。

先日、彩からこんなメッセージが届いた。
